Here’s something you could get your youth group to do:

Wootton Bassett Community Church ‘After Hours’ youth group in Swindon went Mexican for an evening. Youth leader Deborah Ravenscroft explains, “We held a Mexican meal to raise awareness and money for persecuted Christians in Chiapas, southern Mexico. The food (chilli, guacamole, fajita’s and nachos) was prepared by the youth group. Everyone who came along paid a minimum of £2.50. People were really generous, and the evening raised a total £624 for persecuted Christians in Mexico!”

Why not challenge your youth group to do something similar? If you want to GO MEXICAN then email emmaw@opendoorsuk.org for more info on how to organise your own Mexico evening.
